An old apartment given a fresh new "do". Vintage furniture sits happily with polished concrete floors while lighting old and new defines the different zones. It's bright and fresh, bursting with personality and a just little irreverent. Love the wall of Tretchikoff and David Lynch ladies. Secretly though I would sell my soul for the blue Murano dragon's tears chandelier. Sigh! A fun apartment makeover by interior design studio Anatomy Design. Based in Johannesburg, South Africa the design duo of Andrea Kleinloog and Megan Hesse has hit just the right balance between high kitsch and high style.

And i'm back...life just seems to get busier +busier!!!

I seriously need another 6 hours in the day and then i 

would get all the things i want to do done....

this divine apartment envisages calm, sophisticated edginess! Herringbone floors, mirrors, marble

ammmaazzing ceilings, gorgeous lights, black and white colour scheme

pretty much ticks all my boxes.x

so less then a week till santa comes..and i have done no

chrissy posts( or finished my shopping)! Xmas has certainly snuck up on me this year

On Christmas day a table is set beneath this beautiful old sequoia tree to celebrate Christmas dinner ... 

a wreath of Boston ivy, decorated with ornamental cabbages and flowers hangs simply from her trunk.
